Configure SickRage with NBZGet Ubuntu

In this tutorial, configure SickRage with NZBGet Ubuntu. We are going to configure SickRage, so that NZBGet downloads the latest TV series. Before you start this tutorial, NZBGet must be installed and configured. To download from the newsgroups.

Configure SickRage with NBZGet Ubuntu

Open SickRage via your browser. With the following address. http: // ip: 8083 It can be another port.

Then click in the upper right corner. On the Icon with 2 gear wheels. Then go to General. Now go to the Tablad Interface. Put the top option on NL_NL. Hold down the CTRL+F5 at the same time.

Linking SickRage to NZBGet

We go to the nzb search.

Take over the following settings.

ENABLE NZB search engine to check.

Send nzbs to SELECT NZBGet.

Enter your users name and password of NZBGet.

Do not adjust the rest of the settings. Otherwise it doesn’t work!

Scroll down. And click Save.

Now we click links on top on Search Engines. We’ll be the first to go to the Configure Your Own Newznab Providertab.

Take over above. And click Add. If you did. Then we’re going to add as many Newznab providers as possible. Because the more Newznab providers you add there. The more likely your series is to be fully downloaded. See here some free Newnnab providers. You must create an account for each Newznab provider. If you’ve added as many as you can. Then choose Save.

Now go to the Search Engine Ordertasheet. Put SickBeard on top. Because this one has no Api limit but also no Backlog. This means that old episodes are often not found in this search engine. Unless they are re-logged there. Other NZB search engines often do have an API limit. The higher it limes, the higher you put it in the list.

Now we go to the top left to the subtitles.

Put to Search Subtitles. Please enter Dutch at Subtitle Languages. For Dutch subs. And English, if you want this one. Set the Search Frequency Subtitles to 5. Something is not translated that quickly. And the lower you put this the more likely you are to be banned from these subtitle sites. Scroll down. And at the bottom left, click Save.

Go to the tablad Subtitles search engines. And put the following check marks to Addic7ed, Opensubtitles,and Podnapsisi. And also put them in this order by dragging them. The rest doesn’t matter. Because there are no Dutch subtitles there. You could be English if you want this one.

Now go to the search engine settings tasheet. For the websites below, you need to create an account and fill in the details here.

When that’s done. Click Saveagain .

SickRage Post-Processing

Now you top right to Post processing. Then adjust the following options.

Processing method Make this Move.

Postpone post-processing Turn on the tickle.

Create missing Serial Folders Turn on check mark.

Now we go to the tablad delivery designation. Take over from the image above. This is best so that Kodi and other tools can easily find subtitles for your TV series.

Now go to the Metadatatasheet. Here you can specify whether covers should be downloaded for Kodi or other Media playback devices.

Then choose Save at the bottom left.

Create Ubuntu map series

Of course, we also need a folder where the series is stored.

One create a TV folder.

sudo mkdir tv

Put the rights right for the folder.

sudo chmod -R 777

You have now created a folder for the TV series. For every series. SickRage creates a separate folder. So we don’t have to make it.

Add SickRage Series

Now we go back to SickRage. http://ip:8083

In the top right, click Series. And then Add Series.

Choose the top Add Option of New Series.

Enter the name of your series. And click Search. Then select your series. And then click Next.

Click New. Find the TV folder you just created. And then click Ok, then click Set As Default. Click Next.

Enter the quality you want here. And put the check mark to Download the subtitles for this series?

Status for previously aired episodes If you put This on Wanted, all episodes will be downloaded. So are the old episodes.

Status for all future episodes must be on wanted or you won’t get any new episodes.

Click Add Series.
