In this tutorial we will set up Radarr with the program NZBGet. So that the desired movies from the newsgroups can be downloaded.
Media management
Go to Settings.
Then to Media management.
Turn on Advance settings.
Put this reassumption on.
Take over the settings below.
Standard Movie Format {Movie Title} ({Release Year}) {Quality Full}
Movie Folder Format {Movie Title} ({Release Year})
Import Extra Files turn them on.
Extra File Extensions srt, nfo
Ignore Deleted Movies turn these on.
Click Save.
Profiles Radarr
We’re going to the tablad Profiles.
As you can see. There are already quite a few good profiles in Radarr. With these profiles, you indicate. In what kind of jellyfish time your movies need to be downloaded.
I’m going to edit one.
Preferred Tags here I fill in x264 and x265.
Beware! Not every device can handle x265! So fill it in only if you’re sure you can play x265 files.
Quality
The above are my settings.
The best way to take over this one is to take over. This ensures that less is downloaded. If you don’t download animated series, you can set it a bit more strictly. Animation series are often a bit smaller. Watch out! x265 is also a lot less big.
Radarr indexers
On the Indexerstab, go to the Indexers tab.
Now click on the Plus sign.
Choose Newznab.
Here you need to provide the data from your Newznab provider.
See a NewzNab list here.
To get good results. You do need often a paid Newnznabprovider.
Specifies the following at Whitelist subtitle tags hardcoded in your own language and your country code. Unless you don’t want movies with Ingrained harcodded subtitles. Then only your country code.
Download client
Go to the Tablad download client.
Click on the plus.
Select NZBGet.
Now Save.
Metadata Radarr
Go to the metadata magazine.
Select Kodi. Or any other service if you use it.
Turn on the check mark Of Enable. And click Save.
