Install Radarr Ubuntu tutorial.

Do a update.

sudo apt-get update

Install requirements.

sudo apt-get install libmono-cil-dev curl mediainfo

Download Radarr. For the latest release see https://github.com/Radarr/Radarr/releases/

sudo wget https://github.com/Radarr/Radarr/releases/download/v0.2.0.870/Radarr.develop.0.2.0.870.linux.tar.gz

Unpack Radarr. And download to a hidden folder radarr.

sudo tar -xf Radarr* -C /.radarr/

Map rights.

sudo chown -R gebruikersnaam:gebruikersnaam /.radarr/Radarr

Go to Radarr map.

cd /.radarr/Radarr

Start Radarr.

mono Radarr.exe

You can access Radarr on http://server.ip.adres:7878.

Auto start Radarr on boot Ubuntu

Create the Radarr init.d script file.

sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/radarr.service

If you get an error that Nano is not installed use this command.

sudo apt-get install nano

Copy and paste this script and change the username.

[Unit]
Description=Radarr Daemon
After=syslog.target network.target

[Service]
User=Username
Group=user
Type=simple
ExecStart=/usr/bin/mono /.radarr/Radarr/Radarr.exe -nobrowser
TimeoutStopSec=20
KillMode=process
Restart=on-failure

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

Now hit Ctrl+X, Y and press Enter to save the file.

Activate the script.

sudo systemctl enable radarr

Start Radarr.

sudo service radarr start

Your are now done.
