Movies Download Radarr Synology Automatically New Movies

In the tutorial I will explain how you can automatically download movies from the newsgroups with Radarr. On a Synology system. You can use this in different ways. This way you can use various apps. Like those from MovieDB and Trakt. But also automatically with self-configured filters.

Add Radarr existing downloaded movies

We will first add the movies that you already downloaded before installing Radarr. Or you did a fresh installation of Radarr.

Click Add Movieson top.

Then opt for Bulk import movies.

Find the folder you’re keeping your movies in.

Scroll all the way down. And click Ok.

Press the green check mark.

Radarr itself add movies

It’s easy to add movies yourself in Radarr. You do it the following way.

Click Add Movies.

Then Add new Movie.

Give up the name of the desired film when you have a glass.

Monitor Yes, yes.

Select your profile you want.

Click on the magnified glass.

Your movie is now being sought.

It may take a while for your movie to download. Make sure you have as many newznab servers as possible.

Add movies to genre with Trakt

In this example, I’m going to download Scfi movies with a good rating.

Go to Settings and then List.

Click on the plus.

Select Tract .

Minimum Availability Physical/Web. There’s no point in looking sooner. Unless you want to download cam movies.

List Type popular.

Rating 70-100. To filter bad movies.

Genre Science Fiction.

Years 2019 2020 2021

Note A lot of movies are now being added!

Add The MovieDB movies

You can also add movies using the MovieDb website.

Set up MovieDB

You must create an account through https://www.themoviedb.org/account/signup

If your account is activated. Open then Radarr.

Go to Lists and then Greate list.

Your list must be set to public.

Otherwise, Radarr can’t read it.

Now add one movie. To test.

You can also do this via an app,

Then go back to List.

You’ll see your ruse click here.

You’ll see a number in the address bar here. Copy it.

Set up Radarr

Go back to Radarr.

Go to Settings.

Go to the tablad Lists.

Click on the plus.

Select the TMDB list.

At Public List, enter the number you just copied.

Click Save.

Your movies that are added to this list. Will now also be added to Radarr.
