In this tutorial how to install Lidarr Synology. We are going to install Lidarr on a Synology system to automatically download music from the newsgroups. We do this on a DSM 6 System but for DSM 7 this will be about the same.<\/p>\n\n

If Lidarr is not available for your Synology. Then you can also consider using the Lidarr Docker installation<\/a> tutorial<\/p>\n\n

Add Lidarr installation option<\/h2>\n\n

Before we can start installing Lidarr on your Synolgy. First we need to add the ability to install Lidarr.<\/p>\n\n

If you are logged in, go to the Package Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Then choose Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Select Any Publisher<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Go to the Package Resources<\/strong> tab. And now click Add.<\/strong> Please enter a name<\/strong> . And at location, enter the following \u201chttp:\/\/packages.synocommunity.com<\/strong>\/\u201d Now click OK. And one more time OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Install Lidarr Synology<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Now we can start the installation of Lidarr.<\/p>\n\n

Go to it PackageCenter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

If you scroll down this screen. Then you will see a Community<\/strong> button. Click here.<\/p>\n\n

And then on the right you will see an icon with Install Lidarr . <\/p>\n\n

Choose to install<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

You will then get the above screen. Then click Ok<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

You will then see the above screen twice. For ffMpeg and Chromaprint. You don’t have to do anything.<\/p>\n\n

Tick the box here. And click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Click next again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Now click Install<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Lidarr Synology is now installed.<\/p>\n\n

And you can access it via http:\/\/synology-ip-address:8686\/<\/p>\n\n
