Should this webpage fail to load. Then SABnzbd is installed on a different port. If not, SABnzbd is not started.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up basic SABnzbd<\/h2>\n\n<p>When we start SABnzbd for the first time. Give it some time. You may receive the above message. Check the top checkmark. So you can access SABnzbd locally. The bottom checkmark is that you can access SABnzbd via the internet. This bottom checkmark is necessary if you want to be able to access SABnzbd via your Smartphone via 3g\/or 4g. But then you will also have to arrange what a portforward in your router has to do.<\/p>\n\n<p>Now click <strong>go to SABnzbd<\/strong>. SABnzbd will ask for a username and password. You can click on <strong>add NZB<\/strong> in the top right. To download files from the newsgroups.<\/p>\n\n<p>NZB files can be found on various sites see <a href=\"https:\/\/nzbusenet.com\/usenet-sites\/online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Usenet communities<\/a> for some sites or via an <a href=\"https:\/\/nzbusenet.com\/en\/nzb-search-engines\/\">NZB search engine<\/a>. You don&#8217;t have to do this. And so it is ready to be used. In the folder <strong>Incomplete<\/strong>. Everything that has not yet been fully downloaded will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is wise to adjust this. Especially if you have an extra hard drive. And find the folder where you want to save the temporary download. And this also applies to the edited downloads folder.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>watched folder<\/strong> option. Also very convenient. Any NZB file you store here. Will be downloaded by SABnzbd.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SABnzbd additional download server<\/h2>\n\n<p>It is possible in SABnzbd to add an extra Usenet server. This can be useful if the download is not complete on your primary Usenet server. Then SABnzbd tries to download it with the backup server.<\/p>\n\n<p>Go to the <strong>Servers<\/strong>tab. And check the<strong>Reserve server<\/strong> checkbox. To be sure, test it by clicking <strong>Test Server<\/strong>. If the test went well.
