We are going to install NZBGet Docker on a Synology NAS system. So that we can download from the newsgroups<\/a> with NZBGet.<\/p>\n\n

Install Docker for NZBGet<\/h2>\n\n

We need to install Docker first. If you haven’t installed it on your Synology yet. The advantage of Docker is that you can install just about anything. You are then much less dependent on the Synology community. <\/p>\n\n

Open your Synology’s web page. <\/p>\n\n

Go to the Packe center.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Select the All Packages<\/strong> tab. Look up Docker. And then click Install<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Install NZBGet Docker<\/h2>\n\n

Now we can install the NZBGet program on Docker.<\/p>\n\n

At the top left of your Synology, you can now open Docker.<\/p>\n\n

Go to Image<\/strong>. Then add. Add<\/strong> from URL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Then enter one of the urls below<\/p>\n\n

https:\/\/hub.docker.com\/r\/linuxserver\/nzbget<\/strong> This is the latest official version. NZBGet is no longer being developed by its owner.<\/p>\n\n

https:\/\/hub.docker.com\/r\/jscottelblein\/nzbget<\/strong> This is the last version under further development by another owner.<\/p>\n\n

Then click on Add<\/strong>. Now we have to wait.<\/p>\n\n

Choose Latest<\/strong>. And then Select<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Select now NZBGet<\/strong>. Then Start<\/strong>. (left corner)<\/p>\n\n

Go to Advanced Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

\"autostat<\/figure>\n\n

Check the box Allow auto-restart<\/strong>. So that NZBGet will restart automatically if necessary.<\/p>\n\n

Apply<\/strong> and then Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Then Add<\/strong>. Wait a minute<\/p>\n\n

\"nzbget<\/figure>\n\n

And then you can find it at container.<\/p>\n\n

And you can then access NZBGet via http:\/\/ip-synology:49160<\/p>\n\n

You can now go to the next step to configure NZBGet Synology<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
