In this Prowlarr Docker Synology tutorial we will install Prowlarr via Docker on a Synology system. So that you have an extra usenet and torrent provider for your automatic downloads.<\/p>\n\n

In this tutorial we use DSM7. It will look approximately the same on DSM6.<\/p>\n\n

Docker Synology installing<\/h2>\n\n

If you have not yet installed the Docker program on your Synology. Then you have to install it first.<\/p>\n\n

Open your Synology’s page.<\/p>\n\n

Go to the Packe center.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Go to the All Packages<\/strong> tab. <\/p>\n\n

Now search for Docker. <\/p>\n\n

And then click Install<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Open Docker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Go to Image<\/strong>. Click Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Enter the following for URL: https:\/\/hub.docker.com\/r\/linuxserver\/prowlarr<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

And then ADD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

This may take a while before you get the above screen. Then click on Latest<\/strong> and then Select<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Now wait a minute. This may take a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n

Go to Container<\/strong>. Then Add<\/strong> and select Prowlarr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

\"Restart<\/figure>\n\n

Turn on Enable restart<\/strong>. And then Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Now double click on Prowlarr<\/strong> and you can see here which port it is active.<\/p>\n\n

And then you can contact it via http:\/\/ip-synology:49172. Please note: do not use https, otherwise the page will not load.<\/p>\n\n
