If SSH is not enabled, you will need to do so first. This step is essential for installing Sonarr.<\/p>\n\n<p>Have you already activated SSH? Then you can proceed directly to the next step. <\/p>\n\n<p>Navigate to the web interface of your QNAP system. You can do this by entering the IP address of your QNAP into the address bar of your browser. PuTTY is a free program that allows you to easily create an SSH connection to your QNAP system. <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the official PuTTY download page via this link: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chiark.greenend.org.uk\/~sgtatham\/putty\/latest.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">https:\/\/www.chiark.greenend.org.uk\/~sgtatham\/putty\/latest.html<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the right version for your operating system. For Windows 10 or 11, it is recommended to download the <strong>64-bit x86 version<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the installation file and follow the steps in the setup to install PuTTY.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Once the installation is complete, you can use PuTTY to establish an SSH connection to your QNAP system.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing Sherpa for Sonarr<\/h2>\n\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t installed Sherpa yet, you&#8217;ll need to do this first. We&#8217;ll do this via the Putty program. <\/p>\n\n<p>Now that you have installed PuTTY, you can create an SSH connection to your QNAP system. Follow the steps below: <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open PuTTY on your computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <em>Host Name (or IP address)<\/em> field, enter the IP address of your QNAP system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Open <\/strong>to start the connection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>When you connect, you will be prompted to log in. Make sure you log in with your Administrator account. This is important, as only an <strong>Administrator account<\/strong> has the necessary rights to make changes or install software on your QNAP system.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Now we will download and install Sherpa using the command below.<\/p>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>\ncurl -skL https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/get-sherpa &gt; \/share\/Public\/sherpa.qpkg;\nsudo sh \/share\/Public\/sherpa.qpkg;<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t work, try the following.<\/p>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>sudo sherpa<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t work, then try the command below<\/p>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>sherpa<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Installing Sonarr Qnap<\/h2>\n\n<p>Now that you have logged into your QNAP via SSH, you can begin installing Sonarr.
