In this tutorial Lidarr music download synology we will set up Lidarr to download the desired music albums from the newsgroups.<\/p>\n\n

After setting up Lidarr, we first need to create a folder on Synology where the music will be stored.<\/p>\n\n

We need a folder where the music will eventually be stored, so we’ll create it now. <\/p>\n\n

Click Create <\/strong>and then click Create a new shared folder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In Name <\/strong>you enter a name that will be displayed in Lidarr.<\/p>\n\n

Monitor New Albums:<\/strong> leave this at All Albums. We can then set this per album. <\/p>\n\n

Click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Root Folder: leave it as is<\/p>\n\n

Monitor:<\/strong> Here you specify which albums should be searched for from this artist. You cannot specify a name of a specific Album here, that is not possible with Lidarr. <\/p>\n\n

Monitor New Albums:<\/strong> Here you can specify whether you want to download all new albums or only the old albums.<\/p>\n\n

In Quality you enter your profile that you created earlier. Or you take Any<\/strong>. But this is not handy if you can’t play certain formats like FLAC. <\/p>\n\n

Click on ADD artist name<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Now the desired albums of this artist are downloaded. This can of course take a while before everything is found. This depends on your Newznab or torrent providers, give it some time. <\/p>\n\n
