SickGear Docker install Synology

In this tutorial install SickGear Docker Synology. We are going to install the program SickGear on a synology system. We will do this via Docker.

In this tutorial we are going to SickGear Docker Synology. Install the SickGear program on a Synology system via Docker. With SickGear you can automatically download TV series from the newsgroups and via torrent files.

We are going to install SickGear Docker on a Synology system. The big advantage of Docker is that you can install just about anything that works on a Linux system. You are no longer dependent on whether a Synology package is made of it.

Open the web page of your Synology system.

Go to the Packe center.

Go to all packages. Search for Docker. and then click Install.

Now we can install the program SickGear on Docker.

Top left of your Synology page. You can open the Docker program.

Go to Image. Then add. Add from URL.

Then enter at URL: https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/sickgear

Then Add. This could take a while.

You now have to choose a version. Select Latest. And click Select.

Then go to Image. Select SickGear. Then Start.

Click Next.

Turn on auto restart. And click Next.

And then Next.

Then Nextagain.

And then Done.

If everything went well. Then you can now find SickGear at Container. With the status Active.

Now double click on SickGear.

This is the port on which SickGear is active, you can now access reader via http://ip-your-synology:49160
