In this tutorial, we are going to burn in subtitles with VLC media player. Sometimes devices cannot handle separate subtitles files. Like, for example, an I-pad. Or a smart TV that can’t handle this well. It is quite simple to burn in subtitles with VLC media player.
Start VLCMedia player.
Click on Media. And then on Stream.
Click Add. And find your movie file.
Click Stream. And then click Convert.
Click on the wrench icon.
Then go to theSubtitles tab.
Check the two check marks here.
Subtitles.
Put subtitles over the video.
press Save.
Press Start.
Your movie is now being converted. To a movie file. With burned-in subtitles.
