We are going to install SABnzbd Docker on a Synology NAS system. So that we can download from the newsgroups with the program SABnzbd.
We need to install Docker first if we haven’t already installed it on your Synology. The advantage of Docker is that you can install just about anything that works on a Lunix system. You are no longer dependent on whether a Synology package is made.
Open your Synology’s web page.
Go to the Packe center.
Go to all packages. Look up Docker. And then click Install.
Now we can install the program sabznbd on Docker.
At the top left of your Synology you can now open Docker.
Go to Image. Then add. Add from URL.
Hub page of Repository. Please enter the following https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/sabnzbd.
Then click on Add. Now wait a minute.
Select Latest. So that you get the latest stable version of SABNzbd on your Docker.
Now wait a while SABnzbd is being downloaded.
Now select SABNZBD, and click Start.
Click Advanced Settings. Then turn on AutoStart. And click apply. Then click Next.
And then on Add. If you go to Container. Then you see SANBBD in between and then it is installed. You can now access SABnzbd at http://ip-van-je-synology:49159. This was the installation of SABnzbd on Docker. You can now use the Synology Configuring SABNzbd tutorial.
