Install Jackett Synology for more Torrent providers

In this tutorial Installing Jackett Synology Let’s install the Jackett program on your Synology NAS. Thanks to Jackett you have more torrent providers for example Sickrage or CouchPotato. Beware! Jackett is still beta. So there may still be bugs.

If Jackett is not available to you, you can also use the Jackett Docker Synology. tutorial to install.

Add installation option Jackett

Before we can install Jackett we need to add the “http://packages.synocommunity.com” repository. And the Beta option must be enabled. If this is already the case, you can skip this step.

You open your browser and go to your Synology NAS webpage.

If you are logged in, go to the Package Center.

Then choose Settings.

Go to the tablad Beta. Check the box here Yes, I want to view the beta versions! and click OK.

Go to the Package Resources tab. And click Add. Enter a Name and at location enter the following “http://packages.synocommunity.com” Now click OKand OK again.

Install Jackett synology

Now we can start the Jackett Synology installation

You open Package Center.

Scroll down and click Community.

Find Jackett, and click Install.

When the installation is complete. Then you can acces Jackett via http://ip-address:9117/Admin/Dashboard
