It is possible to install Torrent transmission for free via SSH. However, this requires some more technical knowledge. For more information, see the tutorial Torrent Transmission Qnap SSH installation.
Open the page of your Qnap system.
Go to App Center.
Click on the gear icon at the top right.
Go to the App repository tab.
Click add.
Please fill in the information below.
Name : MyQnap
URL : https://www.myqnap.org/repo.xml
And click add.
Now we can install Torrent transmission on your Qnap.
Go to MyQnap.
Search here for TransmissionBT 4. You have to buy this once.
And then click on + install.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
You can access Transmission on port 9092
