Install NZBGet Qnap over SSH

In this manual we are going to install NZBGet Qnap. Install NZBGet on a Qnap system. We will do this via SSH. So that you can download from the newsgroups. This has been tested on QTS 4.2.x to 4.4.x. If you have a different version. Then this is possible then it is possible that it will not work.

Install Qnap NZBGet

You can use Putty. To set up an SSH connection.

Start Putty, and make a connection to your QNAP. Then log in with your ADMIN account.

Go to the correct folder.

cd /share/Public

Download the installation script. Correct rights for the folder. For the installation script.

curl -skLO https://git.io/sherpa.sh && chmod +x sherpa.sh

Now we are going to install NZBGet.

./sherpa.sh NZBGet

When the installation is complete. Then we remove the installation package.

rm sherpa.*

You are now done with the installation of NZBGet on your QNAP system.

It is now time to start configuring NZBGet.

cat sherpa.debug.log
