In this Configure Lidarr Debian tutorial. Let’s set up Radarr with the program Sabnzbd to automatically download the latest music from the newsgroups.
We are going to configure as Lidarr to rename files. Go to Settings. Choose Media management.
Check Rename Tracks.
Press the question mark.
Select the second option. Then add this too Multi Disc Track Format.
Check the Ignore Deleted Tracks checkbox.
We need to add indexers otherwise Lidarr won’t know where to download and search the NZB files from.
Go to Settingsand then Indexers.
Click on the plus.
Here you have to enter the details of your Newznab provider. See the newznab servers list.
You can often find the api key under you account. And then site api.
Then click Save. And then on Test.
Please include the above information. The Retenetioncan often be found on the website of your Usenet provider.
Press Save changes.
If you use Kodi, or another system to manage your music. Then you often have to update the library. Below I explain how you do that for Kodi. But you can also use it for Plex or something else.
Open Settings. Then select Connect. Click on the Plus sign.
Then select Kodi.
All checkmarks under Notification Triggers. Ensure that you see a popup in Kodi. This is not necessary to update the library.
Scroll further down. And here you will see the checkbox Update Library. This one is very important! Otherwise, Kodi will not see the new release. You have to set the rest of the checkmarks to your own taste.
Open Settings en dan Metadata. Click Kodi. And check Enable.
Configure Lidarr Debian NZBGet. So that your downloads are downloaded from the newsgroups.
Go to the Download client tab.
Click on the plus.
Select SABnzbd.
Enter your details from NZBGet. Click on Testand if that’s OK on Save.
If the test is not successful, check the api key and username with password.
You can configure Lidarr Debian here. what should be the minimum size of your music files. This can be very useful for clearing up some clutter.
I would set a minimum size of 1mb overall. And for FLAC 3MB.
