In this CouchPotato tutorial. CouchPotato Install Synology with NZBGet and DSM 6. Let’s install CouchPotato on a Synology NAS system. Before you start this tutorial. The NZBGet program should already be installed. And you must be able to download from the newsgroups with this. If this is not the case, then first see the NZBGet tutorial overview.
Add CouchPotato installation option to your Synology NAS.
Before we can install CouchPotato, on your Synology. We have to add this option first. If this is already done. Then you can skip this step.
If you are logged in to your Synology webpage. Then go to the Package Center.
Then, go to Settings.
Select Each publisher.
Go to the Package Sources tab, then click Add. Please enter a name . At the location, enter the following “http://packages.synocommunity.com/” Now click OK. And again OK.
Should“http://packages.synocommunity.com” not be available. Then you can also use “http://synology.nzbusenet.com“
Install CouchPotato
Now we can actually download and install CouchPotato.
Go back to the Package center.
Scroll down. And now click Community.
Search for CouchPotato. And then click Install.
Then click Next.
Then click on apply.
CouchPotato will now launch. You can now access CouchPotato via your browser http://your-ip-address-local-nas:5050
Should CouchPotato not have started.
Then go to Installed , Click on Action and then Run.
