Configure Binreader Windows to download from Usenet

In this tutorial we are going to configure the Binreader program. So that we can download files from newsgroups with Binreader. This is possible, for example, with NZB files that you have downloaded from an nzb search engine or a SpotWeb site.

Configure binreader

Start Binreader.

binreader configure news server

The first time Binreader is started. A pop-up will appear. Select Settings.

Here we enter the news server of which you have an account. This information you can find often, in the welcome email of your Usenet provider.

Hostname is the usenet server address.

If your Usenet provider supports SSL. Then it is best to check this. However, if you are not sure about this, it is better to turn it off.
binreader-langauge

Go to the Tab User Interface. And set the langauge to you preferred language So that Binreader is displayed in your language.

Now press the button OK.

add bin reader nzb

If you have entered the details of your news server correctly. Then the following screen will appear.

You are now ready to download NZB files with Binreader.

At the top left you have the button Add NZB.

You can download NZB files from for example Nzbindex.com, Binsearch.info or from SpotNet WebSites.
