Radarr Download and Install Synology

in this tutorial download and install Radarr Synology Let’s install Radarr on Synology device. With DSM 6 or higher. It may also work with DSM 5. However I have not been able to test this. Once we have done this, we will configure Radarr to download with NZBGet.

If the tutorial below doesnt work for you, because your Synology is not supported. Then you can also use the Radarr Docker installation tutorial.

Add packages.synocommunity.com for Radarr

If you http://packages.synocommunity.com. have already added. Then you can skip this step.

Before we can install Radarr. We need to add a repository first. Otherwise, Synology does not know where to download Radarr.

You open your browser. And then go to your Synology NAS webpage.

If you are logged in, go to the Package Center.

Now click Settings.

Put a checkmark on each publisher .

Go to the Sourcestab.

Then click Add.

Specify a Name .

At location , enter the following in “http://packages.synocommunity.com” Now click OK. And again OK.

You’re done now. Http://packages.synocommunity.com has now been added as a repository.

Should synocommunity.com be down. Then you can also download the SPK from Https://synology.nzbusenet.com/?fulllist=true. But you need to install Radarr manually then.

Download Radarr for Synology

Now we can download Radarr for Synology. And then install it. On your Synology NAS.

Go back to the Package center.

Scroll down. and click Community.

Search for Radarr here. and then click Install. (without beta)

Now click Next.

Click Apply.

Radarr will now be installed and downloaded for your Synology.

You can now access Radarr via http://your-nas-ip-adres:8310

Upadate Radarr Synology

Radarr should not be updated via Synology itself. Because there is a great chance that it will not work anymore.

Open Radarr.

Go to System.

Now click on Updates and then on Install latest.

You will now see a popup at the bottom right. That Radarr is updating.

If the update. went well. Then you will see the above.

You have now completed the installation of Radarr on your Synology. it is time to configure Radarr. So that your desired movies are downloaded from the newsgroups.
