In this install Medusa Docker Synology. Let’s install Medusa on a Synology system via Docker. Medusa makes it possible to automatically download TV series from the newsgroups and via torrent files.
In this tutorial, we will discuss Docker for DSM 6 and 7.
Both DSM versions require you to install Docker if you haven’t already.
Install Docker for Medusa
If you have not yet installed the Docker program on your Synology. Then you have to install it first.
Open your Synology’s page.
Go to the Packe center.
Go to the All Packages tab. Search for Docker. And then click Install.
For DSM6 go to Medusa Docker install DSM6.
Install Medusa Docker Synology DSM7
Now we can start installing Medusa on Docker Synology DSM7.
Left click on the icon above.
And type Docker. To open docker.
Now go to Container. Then Make. Then Add. And then Add from URL
Then enter the following url https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/medusa
Then click on Add. Now it’s time to wait.
Make sure Latest is selected. And then Select.
Select Medusa. And then click Start on the top left.
Click Next.
Check the box Allow auto-restart. So that Medusa automatically restarts if necessary.
Click Next.
And then Next again.
Then Done.
You can now access Medusa via http://ip-synology:49181

Medusa Docker Synology DSM6
Now we can start installing Medusa on Docker Synology DSM6.
Left click on the icon above, and type Docker. To open docker.
Go to Image. Then add. Add from URL.
Then enter the following https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/medusa
Then click on Add. Now we have to wait.
Choose Latest. And then Select.
Now select Medsusa. Then Start. (left corner)
Go to Advanced Settings.
Check the box Allow auto-restart. So that Medusa automatically restarts if necessary.
Apply and then Next. Then Add again. Wait a minute.
And then you can find Medusa at the container. Access Medusa at http://ip-synology:49181
